This dream isn't "mature", so I'm not marking it as such, but it has a little bit of gore, so if you're squeamish, you might want to skip this one.

It's just a snippet of a dream I had last night. I was in some sort of fenced yard--maybe someone's backyard--and I walked over to the gate to let myself out. (Hm, I wonder if this "using doors/gates to leave places" thing is a recurring symbol in my dreams.)

When I got to the gate, I reached up to release the latch, and to my surprise the metal rod that I had to slide wasn't a metal rod at all. It was a severed finger. Very surreal!
