We Can Take a Cab to the Curb

Here's one that seems suspiciously to contain symbolic meaning. I parked my car near my home, but when I got out my companion pointed out that I was parked too far from the curb. When I got out of the car to check, I was a long, long way from the curb--maybe 50 feet away. I laughed it off and got back in the car. Eventually, I got the car parked properly, but it took more-than-normal concentration.
